Quality & Operations Management System for airports

To manage an airport in a secure and cost-effective manner, a support system that helps the airport’s various personnel to carry out their work tasks efficiently and correctly is needed. QOMS from Combitech is a process-oriented quality and operations management system that is used in 51 airports in Sweden. QOMS ensures that everything from the handling of Lost & Found and reminders for deviation reporting to the rules and regulations from the Civil Aviation Authority are conformed to. QOMS ensures a process-oriented way of working that provides optimal conditions for a traceable and quality-assured operation at the airport, which is also a requirement for ISO-9001 certified airports.

QOMS replaces the airport’s operational handbook with a web-based handbook that can also be common to several airports. Changes, updates and new support functions are quickly disseminated in the organisation. When several airports jointly use the operation handbook, lower costs to keep the handbook updated are obtained and the work of supplying new processes and functions is shared.
